Men’s Wellness Experts in Tucson, Arizona

What is Functional Fitness?

The Functional Fitness Protocol is designed to optimize your fitness level and increase muscle health, aerobic function, mobility, and weight loss. This is not a one size fits all protocol. Our customized programs are built around your current level of fitness and focused to meet your individual goals. We employ a dynamic fitness regimen that emphasizes strength training, mobility, and endurance training to promote cardiovascular health and injury prevention.

What’s Included in the Functional Fitness?

The Functional Fitness Protocol begins with a baseline fitness assessment during the comprehensive physical exam in our office. We will estimate your VO2 max as well as establish some physical baselines. You will then meet with our fitness director at a training facility. Ongoing physical fitness assessments allow your plan to evolve with you.

As part of the Concierge Wellness plan, we serve as your wellness coaches. As part of the Healthy Male Plan, you will have a fitness program designed for you to follow independently without the wellness coaching. You will, however, have regular fitness evals to keep you focused. Both plans are geared to maximize your success.

The incredible benefits of fitness are multiplied many times over when your body’s metabolic function is primed to use your stored energy more efficiently. Our Metabolic Enhancement and Functional Fitness Protocols are therefore designed to work together to help you achieve maximum results beyond what each could accomplish alone.

Dr. Piercecchi and Dr. Monterrosa took my case after the first two doctors told me everything was fine. They looked at my case as a whole and made sure to get all the information. After over a year and a half, I finally have answers when other doctors told me nothing was wrong. I can’t thank them enough for everything they have done! If I could give 6 stars I would!”
